The Cyril Huze Blog is reporting: Harley-Davidson is recalling a total of 11,005 motorcycles..The models concerned are: 2008-2009 FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones, 2008 FXSTSSE2 Screamin’ Eagle Softails, and 2009 FXSTSSE3 CVO Softail Springers. There is a defect with a acorn stud at the brake reaction link and the stud could fall out, with for possible consequence that the front brake/front fender assembly could get disassembled. Dealers have been instructed to replace the existing acorn stud with a new stud and retaining clip.

More than 5,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders are expected in northwest Arkansas May 28-30 for the 17th annual Arkansas Harley Owners Group Rally.

The HOG Rally will bring together Harley riders for three days of riding, games and fellowship at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center and Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.

This year's rally will include a veterans' ride, guided rides, bike games, walking bingo, seminars, a "Ladies of Harley" reception, three concerts and much more for members only.

Several activities will be open to the public, such as a bike show, a parade and vendors selling all kinds of merchandise.

The Antique Motorcycle Club of America and the Northeast Coalition of Chapters will hold the Largest Antique Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet in the US from June 12-14 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY.

The event will feature bikes and machines that run from as early as the 1890s.

More than 800 Harley-Davidson owners and their families are expected to ride into downtown Zanesville, Ohio, in June for the Ohio Harley Owners Group Rally, officials announced Thursday.

The event would be June 11-13 at Zane Landing Park.

Roar in the Mountains is a three-day bike rally with something for everyone. During three days Altoona and Hollidaysburg (PA) come alive to show you a good time.

There will be bike games, concerts, vendors, beer, food, a car show,
and bars and restaurants in the area will have weekend specials and
entertainment.
